Polyester & composite focused
Pigment systems are tailored for unsaturated polyester and thermoset composites, with attention to curing behavior, coverage, surface finish and how small variations in color impact customer perception.
Process-friendly dispersion
Pigments are based on a monomer-free unsaturated polyester carrier designed for easy dispersion and stable flow, making them easy to incorporate into your existing resin or gelcoat systems.
Consistency batch after batch
Color is controlled using spectrophotometry (Konica Minolta) combined with strict batch-to-batch checks, helping you maintain consistent color across production runs and between plants.
From any color reference to a production-ready match
-
Step 1: Share your target
-
Send us any reference: RAL / Pantone code, coated chips, existing FRP panel, gelcoat sample, pultruded profile, solid surface slab or photos with context. The more information we receive about your system and use case, the better and faster the match.
-
-
Step 2: Lab matching & testing
-
Together with the MexColours / Speed Matching team, we measure your target with a spectrophotometer, formulate within polyester-compatible pigment systems, and run internal checks under controlled viewing conditions. If needed, we test in specific resin or gelcoat types used in your process.
-
-
Step 3: Approval & supply
-
We send you color data and, when required, physical panels or sample batches. Once you approve the color, we lock in the formula so it can be reproduced reliably in future batches. At that point we define packaging, shipping frequency and integration into your standard BOMs.
-
Typical matching lead times are around two weeks after we receive your target, depending on system complexity and testing requirements.
Test Our Pigments With A Welcome Kit
For qualified composite manufacturers in Texas and the U.S., we can coordinate a free Welcome Kit so you can evaluate the pigments directly in your own process before committing to a full color program.
-
What’s in the kit:
